Fighting for women´s rights as a climber in Iran

Nasim Eshqi, alpinist and human rights activist, will share her journey from kickboxing to the mountains and rocks. Her unwavering resistance to surrendering her dream of freedom, despite being born under an Islamic and oppressive regime, has propelled her to become an advocate for human rights in Iran and around the world.

About Nasim Eshqi
Nasim is the only female professional rock climber from Iran. Since her childhood sport was an opportunity for her to feel free and to escape in a different world. Because of the political situation she decided to leave the country and lives now in Italy.
